Australian Premium Macadamia's specialise in bringing the best quality NIS macadamias to the market.
Process
We use x-rays in our sorting process to identify internal defects in the nuts that occur on the farm, allowing us to remove nuts affected by insects, immaturity and mould.
In addition, we use a colour sorter which removes cracked and damaged nuts as well as any remaining debris from the farm such as husk.
Storage
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated environment away from direct sunlight and strong odours. For extended storage, maintain product at temperatures below 15°C and relative humidity below 70% where possible.
